How do I make a booking?

Parking

Corner Cottage provides a parking permit for the duration of a guests stay. The car park is a five to ten minute walk from the cottage and is located at Porthgwidden beach. It is possible to offload your car at the end of the Digey, approx. 20 yards from the cottage itself. Directions to the car park together with the permit will be in the cottage ready for collection on your arrival.

Where is the cottage?

Corner Cottage is situated in The Digey, a lovely cobbled street that connects Porthmeor beach to the bustling Fore Street.

Is smoking permitted?

No, the cottage is strictly non-smoking.

Does the cottage have WiFi?

Yes, WiFi is provided free of charge.

Do we accept dogs?

No, there is a no pets policy at Corner Cottage.

Is Corner Cottage suitable for children?

Yes, Corner Cottage is perfect for children.

Cancellation Policies?

CANCELLATION In the event of cancellation, for any reason, we will make every effort to re-let the property at full cost. If the property can be re-let, we will refund all monies paid. After the holiday has taken place. If we are unable to re-let the property you will become liable for the full cost of the holiday. It is a condition however that we are notified immediately by telephone of the circumstances giving rise to a cancellation, and it is promptly confirmed in writing. We strongly recommend that you take out Cancellation Insurance.

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in is from 5pm on arrival day and check-out up to 9am on departure day.

Are there any other charges?

No, there are no extra charges for wi-fi, cleaning, heating, gas, electricity, water or anything else.

When is the balance due for my holiday?

A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confirm your booking and the balance is due at six weeks prior to the start date of your holiday.

Do we take shorter bookings?

Bookings are weekly Friday to Friday during peak periods.

Outside of these times we will consider shorter bookings of three nights at an increased nightly rate.

Is bed linen included?

Yes, and also towels and tea-towels (you will need to bring your own beach towels).

What else is included?

We provide welcome provisions such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, pint of milk, tea, coffee and sugar.

Where can I buy my groceries?

The nearest larger supermarket is Tesco in Carbis Bay. However, there are two small Co-op supermarkets in St Ives town centre along with The Allotment Deli on Fore Street plus Norway Stores just around the corner at the end of Norway Lane.
